Historical series Itaú app feature allows you to schedule IPVA payments in São Paulo
January 2024 – At the beginning of the year, people who own vehicles must pay Motor Vehicle Ownership Tax (IPVA). With this in mind, Itaú Unibanco has improved the tax payment journey within its app, through a simpler and easier-to-use solution.
Initially only available to the bank’s customers living in the state of São Paulo, the functionality allows customers to schedule the five IPVA installments 100% digitally. The experience makes the journey up to 35% faster and was developed and improved through active listening process with customers.
The initiative aims to improve the user experience and simplify the lives of customers through an agile, fast payment solution that allows all installments to be scheduled automatically.
