Itaú demystifies credit with a new functionality on the app
The Credit Profile, now available on the banking app, concentrates on providing transparent information ahead of credit decisions
Itaú Unibanco announces a new digital solution, the Credit Profile, already available on the banking app. This new functionality gives an overview of the client’s credit status and its relationship to the market. In addition to providing information that helps clients make more conscious credit decisions, it also offers an explanation of what credit analysis involves. The application was developed to encourage transparency within the credit segment of the banking app and facilitate the consumer’s understanding of their debt through financial guidance.
“There are cases of customers who are not aware of their debts or are aware, but don’t know how to get out of this situation. The Credit Profile works for both, by bringing in a simple and transparent way, with all the necessary information, to build access to credit in a healthy way,” says Leandro Alves, Credit Director at Itaú Unibanco.
The first version of this new service makes it possible to check any pending issues with Itaú and other financial institutions, in one place in the palm of your hand, in addition to allowing the cessation of data in organizations responsible for clearing the client’s name such as the Central Bank, Serasa, Boa Vista, and Quod. “Credit is an ally as long as it is used consciously, which is why we are investing in financial guidance, with the objective of contributing to more people having access to the information they need to organize their accounts and maintain a healthy financial life, having credit as a real ally. The Credit Profile is the first step in a series of actions that we will take throughout the year to contribute to this front”, concludes the Executive.
The functionality allows the customer to adjust, without going to the branch, the income that is being used in the credit analysis, with tips and suggestions that allow your income to be better evaluated by the bank, such as Salary Portability, Open finance, and having the bank as your main financial institution.
The Credit Profile is free and will be available to individual account holders across all banks, over the next few months. To use it, simply log in to the app, access the products tab, and click on the “Credit” button. The service is also included in the Uniclass and Personnalitè segments of Itaú Unibanco.
