iti Itaú offers salary portability for customers who wish to concentrate their finances in a single account

With the new functionality, clients will be able to have total control of their finances in their iti account, make their salary yield 100% of the CDI from day one, and increase their chances of credit approval

December 2022 – Clients of iti, Itaú Unibanco’s 100% digital bank, can now request salary portability from other institutions to iti directly through the account app, completely free of charge. The new functionality will expand the brand’s offer of financial products and services, as it provides the possibility for clients to have their salary arrive directly into their account, at 100% of the CDI and without charging IOF. By allowing iti to know more about the customer’s financial profile, the new feature also increases the possibility of credit approval via cards or loans.

By performing the portability process, the iti client will have the opportunity to control their finances in a single account, without paying fees. In addition to daily income, customers can manage their salary and distribute it according to their different goals, through the Goals feature.

“We have been constantly evolving our product and service shelf to ensure that customers who want to use iti as their main account have the best possible experience. In this context, we decided to bring the possibility of concentrating all their finances in our account with the option of salary portability. Now, clients will be able to receive their salaries directly into iti, also making their salary yield at 100% of the CDI from the day they receive it.

Furthermore, when the customer concentrates their finances with us, we leverage our ability to get to know them better, increasing the chances of their having access to our credit lines”, says João Araújo, director of iti Itaú. Besides the automatic yield with 100% of the CDI, iti offers solutions such as a credit card, account card, personal loan, and balance aggregator. All this comes in a free account and with Itaú’s security, besides granting access to exclusive benefits, such as discounts on courses and stores. “We are always attentive to our clients’ requests and feedback, and the demand for the salary portability functionality was very intense,” adds João.

To request portability, the client must input the CNPJ, the company’s corporate name, and the financial institution where they currently receive payment. The request is analyzed within ten working days and, once approved, the salary will be automatically credited to the iti account on payday.
