Iti Itaú launches “Minhas Metas”, a solution that allows you to distribute your balance and organize your finances to reach different goals
The tool helps clients to save and achieve their goals, with daily returns at 100% of the CDI (Interbank Deposit Rate) and without Financial Transaction Tax (IOF) charges, in addition to online withdrawal of funds, which is available 24 hours a day, including weekends.
July 2022 – Iti Itaú, Itaú Unibanco’s 100% digital and free bank, has just launched the “Minhas Metas” (My Goals) feature for its entire customer base, which will help people to organize their personal finances. With this new feature, it will be possible to allocate resources in different balances within the same account and save money whilst focusing on the achievement of different goals, which can be tracked separately. All these balances, as well as the original account, also have a daily yield equivalent to 100% of the CDI, which means a remuneration higher than that of savings, and no IOF tax is charged. The amounts can be redeemed at any time, including weekends, and the goals can be adjusted whenever necessary.
With Minhas Metas, all Iti clients can stipulate values to be reached to achieve each goal and customize the page within the app according to their needs, whether they want to save for a trip, emergency reserves, courses, the purchase of an asset, the list goes on.
“We have the clear purpose of helping our customers prosper. In light of this, we looked for a way to help them have more control over their money and better organize their financial lives. People need to set aside money for different purposes at the same time. The logic of concentrating the entire amount in a single balance can make it difficult to organize. We listened a lot and, in a simple and extremely effective journey, we started to offer our clients the possibility to separate their money in the way that is most convenient to them within their own account. With this, clients have more clarity and autonomy to reach their goals and objectives in a simultaneous and controlled way,” says João Araújo, director of Iti Itaú.
Within the app, clients can also track how much the money from each goal is yielding. “The novelty represents another step for Iti to increasingly establish itself as our clients’ partner in their journey to manage their financial lives, save, and reach their goals,” adds João.
